Disclaimer
Last updated: [August 31, 2026]
The information and software provided on this website (smoothysound.blogspot.com) and through the Smoothy Sound Chrome extension are provided in good faith, for general and informational purposes only.
1. No Warranty
Smoothy Sound is provided "as is," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every website, device, or media type. Some DRM-protected or restricted content may not support browser-level audio processing.
2. Hearing & Equipment Safety
Smoothy Sound allows volume boosting up to 600%. This is a maximum processing level, not a recommended everyday setting. Listening at high volumes can damage your hearing or your audio equipment. Use Safe Boost, start at low levels, and increase gradually. You are solely responsible for the volume levels you choose.
3. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Smoothy Sound or its developer (Rahul Smoothy) be liable for any loss or damage of any kind — including hearing damage, equipment damage, or data loss — arising from the use of this website or the extension.
4. Privacy
Smoothy Sound is designed with a local-first architecture. No account is required, and the extension does not collect analytics, does not upload or record audio, and does not use external audio servers or telemetry. Settings are stored locally in Chrome and can be cleared anytime from the Options page.
5. Third-Party Links
This website or extension listing may contain links to third-party sites (such as the Chrome Web Store). We have no control over the content or practices of these sites and accept no responsibility for them.
6. Changes to This Disclaimer
This disclaimer may be updated from time to time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or extension after changes means you accept the updated terms.
